What an amazing event. The whole family was there to help and cheer her on. I didn't know they eat the placenta and umbilical cords... she ate just about everything. The babies pooped after feeding, and she ate that up, too.... a behavior that keeps them safe in the wild, when predators may come after the babies if they found signs that she had just given birth.
